After using Ikea and some other furniture for the past 15-20 years, I finally get a room makeover ;)

Absolutely love my new room especially with all the extra drawers and cupboards to keep away all that I hoard.

This year's Mother's Day was slightly different from previous years.
Previous years were spent yelling at the kids to study for their mid year exams. This year, exams started a week earlier ;)

Kids wanted to bake me something.
They did it all by themselves with zero adult supervision.
The eldest and youngest baked coffee cupcakes & biscuits ....

Had a very small birthday party for our youngest who turned 8 last month.

Party was at Explorer kid & there were 13 kids. Should have been 15 but 2 siblings did not turn up and the parents did not even have the basic courtesy to inform us!

Needless to say, we ended up with lots of leftover birthday cake. 3.5kg castle cake was surely too much for 13 ( Read more... )

Sure there's the impending weddings of a few family members but someone in the family may/may not pull through the year.
